Lotus Cortina - I Loved It!!!!!
I owned one of the 500 Left-hand drive Lotus Cortinas in the USA for 1967.
It was an ugly little two-door sedan with the twin-overhead-cam 4 cylinder which was astoundingly powerful! It did 0-60 in seconds....usually faster than the muscle cars of that time period! Even those of the multi-powerful big v-8s! But it did lift a wheel when cornering...and made me VERY happy when driving!
I loved the car and the time!
