Bush Backers Turn To Thompson!
Mike Allen, at The Politico blog reports on an apparent substantial number of Bush team members moving to the Fred Thompson campaign.This rings true with me, and it seems the new GOP hope may quickly resolve into Mr. "Law and Order" Thompson with a few hangers on.....Romney, Giuliani, and an apparent planned run by Gingrich. In my mind the negatives against McCain in his own party base, from the Gang of 14 to McCain/Feingold will marginalize him...no matter the current polls.
