At Least One Democrat Gets It!

“We’ve got a totally irrational system of nominating our president," So sayeth no less a luminary than Senator Carl Levin of Michigan about his own Democrat Party.

The ferocity of the campaign, the terrible impact of the Super-Delegates, and the near-complete disenchantment of Democrats in Florida and Michigan, are signs of this.

This was the year the Democrats could not lose the White House. Yet, while the GOP has taken every step necessary to insure they will lose a good piece of their already-minority status in the Congress, the DEMs seem poised to send enough votes across the aisle or at the least keep them home as to give the GOP Presidential candidate more than a good chance to prevail.

Ah, politics.
